Reward offered for information on dog attack in Cobh

Animal rights group PETA is offering a reward of up to €2,000 for information, after a chemical attack on a dog in Cobh.
It's believed the dog was doused in chemicals while lying in the family garden in the East Cork town last Friday.
The animal was then jabbed with a weapon and the attack left the dog with severe burns and wounds.
The story which broke on the Neil Prendeville Show on Monday sparked outrage and is the second reported chemical attack against a dog in Cork in recent weeks.
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM Vincent Cashman of the CSPCA has this advise for anyone whose animal or pet has been abused:
And anyone with any information on this attack is asked to contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
