Shops Selling Out Of Easter Eggs As People Treat Themselves

Shops across the country are struggling to meet demand for Easter Eggs this year with many of them now out of stock.

Some shopkeepers ordered extra eggs months ago ahead of the lockdown, but today shelves in a number of stores are nearly empty.

For those who have got their hands on Easter eggs, Repak is calling on them to recycle any leftover packaging.

These people are looking forward to treating themselves over the Bank Holiday weekend:

"Classic Cadbury's, really honestly..."

"Definitely I love them, I love them. They're a great bit of fun. It's a great sign of hope. I'm all for Easter eggs."

"Cadbury mini eggs!"
