SIPTU calls on Kerry Group to attend WRC after announcement business centers in Charleville and Naas to be relocated

SIPTU members at Kerry Group have called on management to attend at the Workplace Relations Commission to seek a resolution to a dispute concerning redundancies.
It follows an announcement by the company in March to outsource 150 jobs to Malaysia and Mexico from its business centers here in Charleville and Naas.
SIPTU say they have been engaging with the company to try and secure an acceptable agreement on behalf of union members but in a statement issued to RedFM News the union says despite discussions with the company, agreement could not be reached on the proposed job losses, the redundancy terms, the selection criteria and the transition arrangements.
