Taoiseach Critical Of All Gardai In Fake Breath Test Scandle
The Taoiseach says neither rank and file Gardai nor Garda management are exempt from punishment for the fake breath test scandal.
He was reacting to the Garda Representative Association saying its members didn’t falsify figures, instead management demanded it.
Leo Varadkar says he’s disappointed by the GRA and an internal Garda report has shown officers did fake the numbers.
However he wants an external report to be delivered in the next few weeks before the government decides what action to take.
