The Shop That Sold Winning €10.7 Million National Lottery Jackpot Has Been Revealed
The lucky winner bought their ticket at the Spar in Mount Oval Village in Rochestown.
National Lottery Headquarters say they're still waiting to hear from the country's newest Lotto Millionaire.
The winning numbers are 9,12, 22, 28, 35,47 and the bonus 37.
Speaking to RedFM News, owner of the Spar shop in Mount Oval Shane Cantillon says celebrations are already underway:
"I mean there's a massive buzz here now this morning and great excitement. We're going to start giving out free Crunchies to everybody, saying thank Crunchie It's Friday to make them feel part of it as well, but look we're delighted that a local customer- hopefully it's local customer -has won nearly €10.8 million. The only facts we know are, it was a single quick pick ticket that was sold in the last week. You know, it's very exciting. People are buzzing here today, and it's a massive win with the tough year that everyone's after having. And I really hope it's spent locally. We're delighted with our customers and our local suppliers and it's just a brilliant news story so close to Christmas."
