Three separate wind and rain yellow warnings in place for Cork

Three separate yellow warnings for wind and rain are in place this afternoon as Cork experiences unseasonably wet and windy weather.
Two yellow wind warnings are in place for Cork along with a yellow rain warning
Up to 50 millimetres of rain is expected to fall in parts of the country today.
The weather is having an impact on the roads today with reports of flooding and fallen trees on the R612 from O Learys Cross to Fountainstown/ Crosshaven with care advised on approach
Extra care is being urged on all roads as there's lots of surface water, and strong cross winds
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow weather says it's down for the day.
"It's really unseasonable whether, really wet and windy with a storm really tracking right over us which is bringing that very heavy rain.
"And it's going to continue really to be really heavy rain on and off for the rest of the day and into tonight, some risk of spot flooding with some areas seeing 50mms of rain."
