The best schools in the country have been revealed.

The Sunday Independent printed the top schools in the country for pupils who have gone on to third level education. Certain 'grind schools' have been left out of the extensive study of Ireland's schools.

Cork schools Cólaiste an Phiarsaigh, Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh, Presentation Brothers College and Christian Brothers College all feature within the two lists with a percentage of 98-100% of their students entering third level.
