Head of NPHET's Modelling Group, Dr Philip Nolan says the country has done 'exceptional' work, but that needs to be kept up, "Collectively we've done an exceptional job over the last, I mean that all the people of this country have done an exceptional job interrupting transmission of the virus over the last fortnight. And we can see that in some cases quite rapid decreases in indicators of disease. That said, we're going to find this very difficult to sustain, incidence remains exceptionally high."
