Gardaí Have Issued Over 3,500 Fines For Breaching Covid-19 Guidelines

These include non-essential travel and house parties

Over 2,100 fines have been issued for travel without a reasonable excuse.

While between Thursday 29th of January and yesterday Sunday 31st, over 280 fines, at €100 each, have been issued at Dublin Airport for non essential travel outside of the state.

However from today that fine limit has increased to 500 euro for travelling outside of the country without an essential reason.
