Critically Acclaimed Cork Comedy Troupe Prepare For First National Tour
Cork based sketch comedy troupe, CCCahoots, have announced details of their first national tour.
The troupe have been selling out monthly shows at the Everyman Bar (Cork), and have recently been special guests of The Rubberbandits during their own sell out national tour.
CCCahoots live dates are as follows (with more to be added):
Dolan's, Limerick - April 21st
Roisín Dubh, Galway - April 28th
Live at St Luke's, Cork - May 6th

The CCCahoots troupe is comprised of Tadhg Hickey, Dominic MacHale, and Laura O’ Mahony. This trio has created, written, and performed all of CCCahoots’ critically appraised output with RTE thus far which amounts to two web series; a successful TV pilot; and contributions to RTE's biggest comedy show - Republic of Telly:
The Rubberbandits: "Pure clever man. Irish TV could do with more of that."
Eddie Doyle, Head of Comedy, RTE: “CCCahoots are one of the brightest and most original comedy prospects RTE have had in recent years.”
Lenny Abrahamson: "Excellent."
Channel 4 Comedy Dept. : "Excellent performances; such a great range!"
CCCahoots are currently developing their first sitcom with RTE, due to air Winter 2017.
CCCahoots have also just finished their first short film, and are excited to release it onto the national and international Film Festival circuit, forthwith!
The short film, FitzGibbons’ Budget Funerals, is a mockumentary about a Cork family who have detected a gap in the market for affordable funeral services. The film is written and directed by Tadhg Hickey with additional material by Laura ‘O Mahony and Dominic MacHale. FitzGibbons’ Budget Funerals involves much of the team that made the multi-award winning The Young Offenders, including Patrick Jordan (Director of Photography); Daniel Crowley (Sound Operator) and Dominic MacHale (actor).
