Former Britain's Got Talent Contestant To Perform At Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Wedding
A former Britain's Got Talent contestant has been asked to perform at Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's wedding.
Many rumours have been going around about potential performers at the royal wedding, with Ed Sheeran ruled out because of his tour. All members of The Spice Girls are invited to the wedding but it is unknown whether they'll sing at the nuptials.
However one act confirmed for the wedding is former Britain's Got Talent contestant Sheku Kanneh-Mason who was also awarded the BBC Young Musician of the Year in 2016.
The 19 year old cellist performed on the reality talent show in 2015 and announced the news of the wedding invitation on his Twitter account revealing that Ms Markle called him personally to ask for his services during the wedding ceremony!
I’m so excited and honoured to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. I was bowled over when Ms Markle called me to ask if I would play during the ceremony, and of course I immediately said yes!!! What a privilege. I can’t wait! https://t.co/TU0lyKloCD
