Gangnam Style Is No Longer The Most Watched YouTube Video
Gangnam Style has been dethroned as the most watched video on YouTube
It's five years since the release of PSY's viral video and to date it has amassed an incredible 2,896,057,435 views. The video was the first in YouTube's history to pass one billion views to become the most watched video.
However the video for the South Korean song has now been surpassed by Wiz Khalifa's song See You Again featuring Charlie Puth which appeared in Fast & Furious 7 as a tribute to the late actor Paul Walker. The song now stands at 2,901,992,827 views.
Wiz Khalifa took to Twitter to express his surprise at the news saying "For the record, I joined YouTube in 2007 hoping to make a video that would reach 10,000 views," the singer wrote. "Just heard about See You Again...wow."
