Four new acts have been added to the Live At The Marquee bill!
Making a very welcome return to the marquee this year is Gavin James who will take to the stage on Saturday 16 June 2018. Tickets go on sale this Friday 9 February at 9am.
Following a whirlwind 20 months since the release of his debut album ‘Bitter Pill’ which saw Gavin James sell over 2 million singles worldwide, amass over half a billion streams on Spotify alone and perform over 500 shows to over 3.2 million people at festivals and sold out tours across US, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia, Gavin James has established himself as one of the leading breakthrough Irish artists of the past year.
Returning for the third time is Chic featuring Nile Rodgers who will play Live at the Marquee Cork on Sunday 17 June 2018. Tickets go on sale this Friday 9 February at 9am.
Considered one of the greatest live bands, CHIC’s sound is undoubtedly defined by the rhythm guitar and musicianship of Nile Rodgers, resulting in some of the biggest dance hits of all time. Among music legends, Nile Rodgers is truly exceptional. He amplifies his legacy as a Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist by constantly traversing new musical terrain and successfully expanding the boundaries of popular music.
Also announced this morning by Peter Aiken at The Clayton Hotel, Cork is Jack Johnson.
On 2 July 2018 Jack Johnson will take to the stage of the marquee for his only Irish date as part of his, All The Light Above It Too, World Tour. This will be his first Irish show in 12 years, Jack last performed here in 2006. Tickets for this date go on sale this Thursday 8 February at 9am.
