Mairead Ronan Becomes First Female Winner Of Ireland's Dancing With The Stars
Mairead Ronan won this year's Glitterball on Dancing With The Stars.
The broadcaster and tv presenter becomes the first woman to win Ireland's version of Dancing With The Stars with Kerry footballer Aidan O'Mahony and singer Jake Carter taking home the trophy on the last two series.
Mairead and her professional partner John Nolan beat off tough competition in the final from actor Johnny Ward with his partner Emily Barker and country singer Cliona Hagan and her professional other half Robert Rowinski.
In her first message on social media following the win, Mairead said: "WINNERS Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your votes and messages really mean the world I'm still crying tears of joy.
"This is proof that you can do anything you put your mind to in life. I'm so lucky to have incredible family & friends. Thank you Team MoJo x x #DWTSIrl #winners."
