Michael Fassbender Tipped To Become James Bond

Kerry's Michael Fassbender has become a front runner to take over the role of James Bond.

The actor is one of two frontrunners to replace Daniel Craig as 007 after it is believed he will not continue with the franchise. Craig is now the second longest running James Bond actor after Roger Moore, having starred in four films over the last eleven years.

Reports are suggesting that bets on the Kerry native taking over the role from Daniel Craig have surged recently leading people to believe he will get the nod for the job.

Fassbender has now been tipped for the role as well as Black Mirror star James Norton.

Fassbender has of course made a name for himself in Hollywood starring in many big budget films as well as being nominated twice for an Academy Award, once for Best Actor for his portrayal as Steve Jobs in Steve Jobs and the other for Best Supporting Actor in 12 Years A Slave.

Norton is more known for his roles on British television and has been nominated for a BAFTA in 2015 for his role in Happy Valley.
