The Academic Announce Cork Support Act For Live At The Marquee Gig

The Academic have announced Cork support for their Live At The Marquee gig.

The Mullingar band will be playing their biggest ever headline show in Cork at the Showgrounds venue on June 27th.

Ahead of the gig, Cork's very own Stephanie Rainey has been announced as the support act for the show this coming Thursday.

The past few years have been a roller coaster ride of epic proportions for Cork born singer-songwriter Stephanie Rainey. Stealing the hearts of millions with a home recorded song and music video – 'Please Don’t Go' . Within 24 hours of the video being uploaded to Facebook, ‘Please Don’t Go’ had more than a million hits.

Since her break, Stephanie has released 4 more singles, '100 Like Me' – an anthem for never feeling alone, the wonderfully uplifting 'Nothing of You Left to Love' - written with Ed Sheeran’s long time collaborator Amy Wadge, the beautiful 'Sorry' – recorded with the London Gospel Choir and the summer banger that is 'Question Mark'.
