'The Disappearance Of Madeline McCann' Documentary Series Comes To Netflix Tomorrow

A brand new documentary series based on the disappearance of Madeline McCann is coming to Netflix.

The then three-year-old Madeline vanished from a resort in the Algarve while on a family holiday in 2007. Madeline was sleeping in the family's accommodation with her two siblings while her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, socialised nearby, checking in on the kids every now and then.

Since Madeline was taken many theories about her whereabouts and who took her have circulated yet it still remains a mystery as to what happened the three-year-old.

Netflix have now created an eight part documentary series surrounding the disappearance of the little girl. The series is said to set the record straight about what happened that night, however Madeline's parents refused to take part and there is speculation that the producers of the series didn't question key individuals involved in the case.

The synopsis of the series reads:

"'The Disappearance of Madeline McCann' takes detailed look of the disappearance of three-year-old Madeline mcCann who vanished from the seaside resort of Praia de Luz in Portugal, while on holiday with her family. It was a disappearance that reverberated around the world as the Portuguese police together with Scotland Yeard mobilised a majoe investigation which would go on to become the most high-profile missing child case in British history."

The series will be available on Netflix from Friday March 15th.
