These Are The Most Popular Songs on Spotify in Ireland in 2016

Irish people were busy listening to music on Spotify this year!

Recently Spotify released data revealing that Drake was the most streamed artist on a global scale which marked the second year in a row that the rapper had received such an accolade.

Drake also topped the charts in the Spotify streaming results for his huge hit single One Dance being the most streamed song of the year around the world.

DailyEdge.ie contacted the streaming service to find out what were the most popular tracks listened to here in Ireland for the year and the results are interesting!

No surprise that Drake is also the most streamed song in the country for the year due to it's huge popularity. However there are no Irish artists inside the top 50!
