WATCH: Angelina Jolie Addresses Divorce From Brad Pitt For First Time
Angelina Jolie has publicly spoken about her divorce from Brad Pitt for the first time.
The actress was speaking to BBC World News this week in Cambodia where a screening her film 'First They Killed My Father' is taking place. Jolie directed the film that follows the true story of the Khmer Rouge genocide and tells the story through the eyes of a child.
When asked about her split, Jolie didn't want to divulge too much information however she said she was hopeful that her family will become stronger from after the split.
She said "It was a very difficult time,
"Many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family have all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children."
"We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer."
