WATCH: Cork Band Release Touching Video To Encourage Us To Remember The Elderly

Cork band freezerRoom have released a touching video to remind us all to look out for the elderly this Christmas

Speaking about the song, the band said "This song is an alternative version of our most recent single featuring Joe O’Leary (formerly of Cork band Fred). We loved Joe's vocal so much we decided to give it the orchestral treatment and we're really glad we did! This new version features Jack O’Rourke on backing vocals and along with a magical video by Mike Foott has been receiving hugely positive coverage on social media."

"Christmas is a fun and festive time of year for most of us but some folks are not so lucky. We all have an elderly neighbour living close by. Check in with them over the holidays!"

freezerRoom is Graham White and Rory Dempsey. The pair have been making music together in various forms for over ten years, firstly with Irish downbeat collective The Shades and since then with freezerRoom. Both members share the spirit of collaboration and have always enjoyed working with several people on each project.

This album, the band’s sophomore long player following a 2011 eponymous debut, includes guest vocal appearances from a host of incredible singers such as Tracey KJoe O’LearyJack O’ Rourke and Clara Hill as well as the welcome return of former Shades singer Ray Scannell.  Look out for more singles in the coming months.
