WATCH: Ireland's Bid For The 2023 Rugby World Cup Will Give You Shivers
This is one video that will make you proud to be Irish!
The video, which is narrated by actor Liam Neeson, is our application to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
In the video we're shown footage of iconic Irish landmarks such as the Skelligs, the Cliffs of Moher and the Giants Causeway as well as some of the stadia we are putting forward to hold the games such as the Aviva Stadium and Croke Park.
The narration over shots of players such as Brian O'Driscoll, Ronan O'Gara and Paul O'Connell in memorable Irish rugby clips is inspiring.
Ireland has a good chance of hosting the rugby tournament as our only other competitors are France and South Africa. If our bid was successful, GAA grounds around the country including Cork's Pairc Ui Chaoimh would become hubs for the world games.
