WATCH: Meryl Streep Attacks Donald Trump in Golden Globes Speech
Actress Meryl Streep took aim at U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump in her Golden Globes speech last night.
Streep was on stage to accept her lifetime achievement award and took the time at the podium to have her say on Donald Trump's policies.
Although he did not name Trump, it was clear he was the subject of her criticism.
Speaking about bullying Streep said, "This instinct to humiliate when it's modelled by someone in the public platform by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody's life. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence."
Following the speech Trump is reported to have said he was "not surprised" that he was attacked by "liberal movie people" and has described Streep as a "Hillary lover".
