Doctors' group in Tokyo calls for Olympics to be called off

A group representing around 6,000 doctors in Tokyo is calling for the Olympics and Paralympics to be called off.

Japan's currently battling a surge in coronavirus cases.

The Tokyo Medical Practitioners Association says there's "almost no spare capacity" in hospitals and that doctors "already have their hands full".

The opening ceremony of the Olympics is due on the 23rd of July.
