Thermo Fisher Scientific, based in Currabinny, has opened up applications to its €50,000 Community Partnership Grant scheme. Applications are open until the 8th of October to community groups in the lower harbour area who are making their communities healthier, cleaner and/or safer and can be made at www.thermofisher.com/csr/community-partnership-grant
This is the second year in a row they've done this scheme, and Cork Missing Person's Search and Recovery was one of the groups who benefitted last year. Chris O'Donovan is the group's search coordinator.
