The Arts and Ageing podcast was launched last week. It's an 8 part series with a new episode released every Monday. It was an initiative originally funded by the Arts Council and initiated by Cork City Council.
The podcast looks at creative ways at engaging with the elderly.
Including a part called local know- how, where older members of the public talk about skills they have and how they are still relevant in modern society. Like for example Kevin Jones's skill of knitting fishing nets.
