Karen Underwood took time out of rehearsing at Cork Opera House to chat about what being African- American and celebrating the 4th of July means to her in terms of her freedom and independence.
Karen is also part of a new Opera by John O'Brien called Morrigan. Morrigan being the Irish Godess of death and faith. It contains dramatic scenes of blood and fire, soaring arias, tender duets, and large action packed ensembles with highly charged battle scenes.
