Leah spoke to us from the BT Young Scientist boot camp which took place in UCD yesterday and runs for 4 days.
The idea is to give students the skillset to turn their BT Young Scientist projects into viable a business plan.
Leah and her fellow participants were split into groups where she was examining the difference between
Local Honey and Manuka Honey, which are imported from New Zealand.
The aim is to see how they can market the local honey to sell better than the imported product.
The St Brogan’s students were at the Young Scientist and were shortlisted to attend the event because of the business aspect of their project.
