Cope Foundation - Flowers of Hope

 

This year, Cope Foundation’s Flowers of Hope campaign takes place from 1st - 14th April. Funds raised through Flowers of Hope will be used to develop and progress Cope’s work in assistive technology. Assistive technology is any technological intervention that can enable a person to do something – from everyday tasks to those ‘never-seemed-possible achievements’.

Assistive technology has the potential to really change a person’s quality of life and gain independence. Cope Foundation wants to be able to provide more assistive technology solutions for people so that they really can live ‘Your Life, Your Way’.

You can show your support through many events across Cork city and county. Further details of dates, locations and times below:

 

Wednesday 3rd of April

A coffee morning will be held by Mallow Day Service on Wednesday 3rd of April from 10am -12pm in Quartertown Industrial Estate, Mallow. Tea, coffee and scones have been donated by local businesses, there will also be a raffle with great prizes on the day.

 

Ard Dara in Montenotte will also hold a Flowers of Hope Coffee Morning on Wednesday the 3rd of April from 11am-1pm. All are welcome!

 

The Cope Foundation Centre in Glasheen will have a bumper Flowers of Hope Day on Wednesday 3rd of April. This will include a Flower Power Walk (9.30am), Coffee Morning (from 10.30am) and a Go Floral Day all day!

Friday 5th of April

Cobh Day Centre will hold a Coffee Morning on the 5th of April in Cobh Heritage Centre from 10am-12pm. Drop by for a cuppa and some treats!

Tuesday 9th of April

We will have a bumper Flowers of Hope Day and Coffee Morning in UCC's Centre for Executive Education at 1 Lapp's Quay on Tuesday 9th April with a mega street collection and lots of other exciting activities.

 

Our Flowers of Hope Collection Day will also take place on Tuesday 9th April at:

  • Douglas Court Shopping Centre
  • Blackpool Shopping Centre
  • Douglas Village Shopping Centre

Thursday 11th of April

There will be a Flowers of Hope Coffee Morning in Forrest Hall, New Square, Mitchelstown on Thursday 11th of April 10am-12pm. Join us for a cuppa and some treats!

 

Have your elevenses on the 11th at 11am at Clonakilty Day Centre, Clogheen, Clonakilty.  They will also hold a Coffee Morning from 11am on the 11th of April. 

 

Friday 12th of April

Come along to the Macroom Coffee Morning on Friday 12th of April at the Castle Hotel, Macroom from 10.00am to 12.30pm. 

 

Saturday 13th of April

Come to our Flowers of Hope Gardening Demo with celebrity gardener Peter Dowdall (from the Today Show, C103 and more). Peter will give a demo at Beech Hill Garden Centre (Montenotte) on Saturday 13th April.Tickets (15euro) are available online, click here.

 

The Mater Private will be hosting a ‘Flowers of Hope Easter Egg Hunt’ in aid of Cope Foundation on Saturday April 13th in the City Gate Plaza from 12.00-3.00pm. It will be an egg-tastic fun packed family event with entertainment, games, treats and refreshments.
