10 Cork Schools Among The First To Offer PE As A Leaving Cert Subject

The course will start in September at Kinsale Community School and St Peter's Community College, Passage West among others
The Government has been warned that rolling out Leaving Cert PE in schools is 25 years too late.
The Minister has announced the names of 80 schools around the country where the course will start this September, there are ten here in Cork including Kinsale Community School, St Brogan's College, Bandon and St Peter's Community College, Passage West
The move is supposed to tackle rising obesity rates.
But DCU professor of Health and Human Performance Niall Moyna is unconvinced:
