12,000 homes across Cork remain without water supply

Cork has been badly hit with outages following Storm Ophelia
Irish water say they are continuing to work with the ESB and County Council to restore the supply.
Currently 26 generators are being used to power water treatment plants across the Southern region, serving a population of 90,000.
Tankers and static tanks have been deployed to a number of locations throughout the county afftected by outages.
Irish Water are advising listeners are being advised to visit www.water.ie for up to date details of tanker locations.
