14 People Face Prosecution For Paying For Sexual Services
14 people face prosecution this year for paying for sex with a prostitute - twice as many as last year.
That figure includes suspects in Cork, Dublin, Louth and Wexford.
Since April 2017, it's been illegal to buy sexual services.
The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that just 21 suspects face prosecution since the law was introduced.
Sheila Crowley is from Ruhama, which supports women affected by prostitution.
She says the figures are very low, but says Gardaí are trying to enforce the law:
