GE Healthcare based in Carrigtwohill is to expand its operations.
A significant jobs boost is expected Leeisde today when an East Cork healthcare company announces a €37 million expansion of its manufacturing plant.
GE Healthcare based in Carrigtwohill is expected to make the announcement today and it's understood up to 140 jobs will be created.
The expansion of the facility's workforce to almost 650 is another major boost on the jobs front Leeside and follows the creation of 1,000 jobs at Apple's European Headquarters in Holyhill and 400 jobs at Voxpro's Mahon facility last week.
