15 Drivers Were Caught Drug-Driving In Cork City In 2018
That's according to a new report from the Garda Roads Policing Unit
Gardai also apprehended over 300 drink drivers last year alone.
Inspector James Hallahan from the unit says that more drug-testing equipment will be purchased, and that a heavy focus has been placed on detecting drug drivers in Cork in 2019.
The report also revealed that 3,000 motorists were caught speeding in Cork City last year.
447 were caught for seatbelt offences.
While over 1,500 drivers received penalty for using their mobile phones.
