2.3 million euro Mardyke Gardens planned for Cork
Plans were unveiled today for Cork's newest 2.3 million euro attraction The Mardyke Gardens project was unveiled by the the City Council today which will feature Diarmuid Gavin's Sky Garden The new attraction will also boast the restored Father Matthew Fountain and pond, a new bandstand, a Victorian fruit and veg garden and a public performance space Work on the Mardyke Gardens will start immediately and finish by the Autumn
