21 Day Bus Strike A Factor In The Closure Of Fenn's Quay Restaurant

Trade in Cork dropped by up to 50% in March and April as a result of the bus strike
The owner of a Cork restaurant which has closed it's doors after 20 years says the bus strike had a significant negative impact on her business.
Kate Lawlor closed the doors of Fenn's Quay for the final time last evening and said pay parking outside her front door until 8.30pm at night, commercial rates and the bus strike were all factors in the closure.
Trade in Cork dropped by up to 50% in March and April as the three week old bus strike began to bite.
Some shops were forced to close early and staff hours had to be reduced in response to the fall in demand.
Kate Lawlor the owner of Fenn's Quay told RedFM News people changed their habits due to the bus strike and this had a detrimental impact on her business
