28 dogs seized from East Cork property
The terriers are currently being cared for by the CSPCA.
Almost 30 dogs, including a number of puppies, have been seized from a property in East Cork.
The terriers were removed from a house last Friday in a joint operation between the CSPCA, the gardai and Cork County Dog Warden service.
They are currently being cared for by the CSPCA who are appealing for new foster homes for the animals.
In this case, the dogs were not badly treated but the owner was overwhelmed with the number on the property.
The news comes as two mares with extremely overgrown hooves were rescued from Dunmanway last week and the I-S-P-C-A are also appealing for information today after six dead animals were found dumped in a stream in Co. Meath.
Speaking to RedFM News, Vincent Cashman from the CSPCA says they have seen a rise in the number of people contacting their services Leeside.
