A resolution has been found in a row which threatened the opening of a 31 bed unit at Cork University Hospital
Nurses had raised concerns over the outsourcing of work to agency nurses and while the union says some concerns still exist over that issue it will be raised further at a national level
After two days of talks the union's concerns over governance and supervision have been addressed to the allow the opening of the ward which is designed to reduce overcrowding in the emergency department
