350 new jobs for Bishopstown and Mahon

350 new jobs are to come on stream at Abtran in Bishopstown and Mahon. The company is handling Irish Water and as the company is in the final stages of preparing for billing it is anticipating an increased volume of calls over the next few weeks. The first bills are due to issue in April and Irish Water is urging customers to call with any queries they have in relation to their bills. Abtran is hiring an additional 350 people to deal with the calls and the jobs, which are temporary positions, will be based at the Irish Water contact centres in Mahon and Curraheen.
