38 new jobs for Cork

Cork is in line for a jobs boost. DePuy Ireland has confirmed 38 new positions at its Ringaskiddy plant due to a $36 million expansion in a research and development programme. The new jobs will be primarily at Masters and PhD level. The five-year project is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, through IDA Ireland. The company established a manufacturing facility in Ringaskiddy in 1997 and manufactures orthopaedic products for global markets.
