63rd Cork Film Festival officially launches
The 63rd Cork Film Festival is being officially launched this evening.
The festival, which is Ireland's first and largest film festival, runs from the 9th to the 18th of November.
This year's festival will feature films with themes centred on LGBT, mental health, child poverty, gender equality, and human rights.
Over 250 Irish and international features and shorts will be screened across the Festival, with 90% being Irish premieres.
Speaking to RedFM News Festival producer and CEO Fiona Clark outlines what audiences can expect from this year's programme:
