8 Stowaways Discovered In Shipping Container At Ringaskiddy
8 stowaways were found hiding in a shipping container at the Ringaskiddy ferry terminal on Monday.
The 8 Albanian nationals including a 16 year old were found hiding between pallets on a ship that had arrived from Santander in Spain.
It's understood the men could have spent up to four days in the container.
The men were assessed by paramedics and one was treated for mild dehydration.
The Irish Examiner reports that four of the men have been deported, 3 remain in custody, while the 16 year old is in care pending further inquiries.
