Homeless Children Living In Family Hubs Have Compared It To Prison

Feelings of shame and embarrassment are just some of the issues that children living in Family Hubs have expressed in a new survey.

The views of 80 children living in homeless accommodation in Cork, Dublin and Limerick are considered in a report by the Ombudsman for Children.

The children praised staff and efforts to provide facilities for them.

But space, privacy, noise and not being able to have visitors, were some of the main concerns raised.
