Some welcome news for motorists - 18 roads across Cork have been approved for re-surfacing works The Government and local councils had come under fire for the lack of funding to repair damaged roads following two harsh winters... 800,000 euro has now been approved by the Transport Minister for pothole repairs The full list of roads to be repaired in Cork are - Ballyhooly Road, Bandon Road, Blackrock Road, Camden Place, Clashduv Road, Courthouse Street Junction, Donovan's Road, Eglinton Street, MacSwiney Quay Junction, Farranferris Avenue, Liberty Street, Seminary Walk, Harbour View road, Leitrim Street, Monahan Road, Noonan Road, North Ring Road, Pouladuff Road, Sheare's Street, Tramore Road, Watercourse Road and Wellington Road
