The Citizens Assembly has begun its final weekend of deliberations on Ireland's abortion laws

Members of the citizens assembly have been told to use their conscience when they vote on our abortion laws this weekend.

Over the course of the next two days they'll vote on their recommendations in secret ballots - with a final result due at lunchtime tomorrow.

Launching today's proceedings Chairperson Justice Mary Laffoy told members this morning they must focus on getting the best results to the Oireachtas.
