9 year old girl rescued from inflatable dinghy
A young girl has to be rescued off Ballycotton yesterday after her inflatable dinghy was pulled out to sea
The 9-year-old girl got into difficulty on Ardnahinch beach around 5.30pm yesterday evening .
Valentia Coast Guard was quickly alerted and requested the services of Ballycotton and Youghal RNLI to launch their all-weather and inshore lifeboats.
The girl was brought onboard the Ballycotton inshore lifeboat where she was assessed and found to be safe and well but in a distressed state.
She was assisted by crew members and brought back safely to her parents on the beach.
