A Body Representing Beef Farmers Says Better Prices For Their Produce Is The Only Way Protests Outside Irish Factories Will End

The Beef Plan Movement's dispute with Meat Industry Ireland is now in it's 8th day
Demonstrations have taken place outside processing facilities around the country, including the APB plant on the Macroom Road in Bandon.
The group's calling on members not to trade with factories in the hope of getting a better price for their animals.
Eoin Donnelly, chaireperson of the Beef Plan Movement's western division, says farmers are sacrificing a lot for the cause:
