This week is Organ Donor Awareness Week

She was placed on home dialysis treatment while she was on the waiting for a kidney transplant however she and her entire family feared the worst.

This week is Organ Donor Awareness Week runs from the 1st to the 8th of April and 26-year-old Sally is urging people to consider organ donation and to support the Irish Kidney Association.

When Sally was 15 her parents got the call they had all been waiting for and she told RedFM News about that moment:

Sally  has organised the ‘Gift of Life’ Ball' at the Clayton Hotel Cork City, September 22nd to raise awareness and funds and honour organ donors.
