A Chinese Student, Who Traveled From Wuhan To Waterford, Is In Self-Isolation

It's precautionary measure against the spread of the coronavirus
Waterford Institute of Technology confirmed the student is not ill and is not showing any symptoms of the virus which has killed 80 people in China.
However as a precaution he is staying in isolation in his accommodation in Waterford City.
The student who arrived in Waterford yesterday, left Wuhan some days ago, before the city was effectively shut down.
In a statement, the college says it has been in touch with the HSE and is being directed by them.
