A Cork Businessman Says He Plans To Appeal Against Redevelopment Of A Former City Centre Hotel

Plans to upgrade the former Victoria Hotel on the corner of Cook street and Patrick street received the go ahead from City Hall planners to build a retail unit on the site.
In his original objection, John Grace of John Grace's Fried Chicken on Cook street accused the City Council of lacking an overall plan for the street and claimed the proposed retail unit would be detrimental to the streetscape.
Speaking to RedFM News, John Grace says he was never consulted about the plan
