A Cork Man Who Was Paralysed During Storm Emma May Regain Use Of His Arms

Jack O'Driscoll from Mayfield fractured the C5 vertebrae in his neck after jumping in snow

A cousin of a young Cork man who was paralysed during Storm Emma says there is hope that he will regain the use of his arms.  

19 year old Jack O'Driscoll from Mayfield fractured the C5 vertebrae in his neck after jumping in snow while out with his friends.  

The CIT student was transferred to the Mater Hospital in Dublin due to the severity of his injuries, where he is currently receiving treatment.  

A Go Fund Me Campaign was set up to raise money for his treatment and so far has raised €118,000 

His cousin Daniel Dilworth says he's been in the spinal unit at the Mater since the accident.
